Krystal Ramirez is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her practice alternates between drawing, sculpture, installation and photography as informal snapshots and iconic compositions that contain a staged theatricality. Her work is ongoing exploration of fear. Our own fears and the fears of others. The fears we subconsciously acquire during childhood and that follow each and every one of us into adulthood. Our Gods and Demons never disappear, they merely obtain new names. Krystal Ramirez graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2009 at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is currently a staff photographer for Vegas Seven magazine at Wendoh Media Company. She has exhibited at multiple venues including the Winchester Cultural Center, Contemporary Arts Center, the Marjorie Barrick Museum and the Jessie Metcalf Gallery at UNLV.
